Signs of Winter

I love winter weather, but unfortunately around here we usually get a lot more ice than snow. The sun shining through the ice on the trees is beautiful, but the damage it causes is more than I want to deal with. We woke up this morning to a little snowfall which was beautiful; of course it didn't last too long before the freezing rain began....oh well...

Hi Sandra! That picture is so pretty! I love wintery snowy weather too. We don't get many ice storms around here or much snow for that matter. A few years back we did have an ice storm, and wow the damage it did to our trees was unbelievable! At the time, I thought the ice on our deciduous trees was really beautiful. The aftermath though not so much. Thanks for sharing the picture.

Hi Nora Lee! I can relate to the snowy pics.. I live in Wa state in what they call the "Snow belt" lots of snow and ice as we live on the lake.

It was nice to see the snow, even for a brief time. Looks like you got a little more than we did - hope the ice didn't get too bad where you were...
