This little tin cup and saucer belonged to my husband when he was a baby. You can see along the rim of the cup the indentions of his little teeth marks. I keep it displayed with a ring of holly berries inside. I can't help but smile every time I look at it and think about him drinking and eating from this set 59 years ago. So sweet.

I like how you are displaying them, very nice.
It's very sweet! What a neat way to display it.
What a sweet to have! I like the way you have it displayed. :)
That's really a sweet souvenir I like the little tooth marks !
Oh my goodness! What an absolute treasure [your hubby is the same age as I am] Wonderful Show N Tell!!!!

hmmm I think my comment got deleted--so if you get a duplicate you will know why. Such a cute story and cup. I have an old one that is made of pewter that belonged to my Great Aunt. Now your idea was a pretty way to display it!
Wow. Very sweet for sure! I don't have anything from my childhood.(except for lots of good memories) Enjoy...
You asked about the color on my walls---the color is from Martha Stewart--Sherwin Williams used to sell it (but here they have stopped carrying Martha) , but I saved the card and Sherwin Williams made it up for me. It is called SOLEIL 8186. I like the warm feeling it gives me --I used to have a brighter yellow in one of the rooms and I wanted to tone it down and this worked !
Oh my. I do love it.

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for the visit and lovely compliments. I love the way that you've used your heirloom instead of packing it away, it's just too special! I'll pop by again.
God bless,
Laura

Oh that is so sweet, so sentimental. So many ways for you to use it in a display.

It is amazing that moms let their babies drink from those cups. Now it is more of a keepsake kind of thing.
What a precious thing to have of your husband's childhood. :)
That is SO cute! I love it!
Hope you are having a nice weekend!
Michelle
