Good Friday

Today is Good Friday and along with being nice having a holiday from work, my thoughts wander toward the real significants of this day. A day that marks the death of our Lord died on the cross, until he arose again on Easter morning.

The significants of Easter Eggs reflects new life which is what Jesus did for us, many years ago.

What a cute rabit! I have heard another thing to relate Easter and eggs. The trinity - eggs have the yolk, the white and the shell. Kind of fun.

I hope you have a beautiful Easter!

Hugs, Sharon

I'm so glad you said that about eggs meaning new life and we have new life in Christ.

I'm surrounded by Mennonites. They are wonderful people, but I have often felt intimidated when they mention it being wrong to color eggs or egg hunt. We do it anyway.

I grew up knowing that Easter was all about Jesus, and Dad and Mom still let us hunt for eggs and color them. Hugs, Kathi
